Tuface, P-square,Wizkid and others enter multi million naira agreement with DSTV
Good times are here for artistes like Tuface & P-Square as they have signed a deal which entitles them to an annual fee from MultiChoice ,the parent company of DSTV. This is as a result of a landmark agreement which entitles them to collect royalties for every work of theirs aired on the cable network.
Penning the deal on their behalf, the boss of Copyright Society of Nigeria, Tony Okoroji said ”
“It is a great thing and long time coming. MultiChoice has clearly shown that it is a responsible corporate organization with genuine concern for the protection of intellectual property in Nigeria. Their partnership with us for the development of the music industry is commendable.”
Other beneficiaries include Emem Isong, Uche Jumbo, kunle Afolayan etc
